  • 1981-1992 Attended 12 consecutive Canadian Broomball Championships – 4 years as an observer and 8 years as an elected representative
  • 1983 Chairman of Canadian Broomball Championships in Corner Brook, NL
  • 1985-1990 Instrumental in developing Hosting Policy; rules and regulations for Atlantic Juvenile Championships
  • 1985-1990 Served as Broomball NL representative at the Canadian Broomball Federation for 8 years
  • 1989-1991 Newfoundland/Labrador representative on National Juvenile Development Committee
  • 1993 Public Relations for Canadian Juvenile Championships in Corner Brook, Newfoundland/Labrador

Provincial Activities:

  • 1965 Began playing broomball in 1965
  • 1970-1980 Played with Corner Brook All Stars
  • 1970-1980 Held various positions on Corner Brook Broomball Executive, mainly as publicity chair
  • 1972 MVP – Corner Brook Broomball League
  • 1980-1981 Chairperson of 1st combined Provincial Men’s and Ladies Broomball Championships in Corner Brook
  • 1981-1983 Chairperson of the 7th Canadian Broomball Championship in Corner Brook
  • 1983 Corner Brook Sports Executive of the Year
  • 1984 Awarded “Contributing Most to Broomball”
  • 1984 Started Juvenile Broomball in Corner Brook
  • 1984 Secretary of Broomball NL
  • 1984-1985 Successfully lobbied in getting Ladies Juvenile Broomball in Newfoundland and Labrador Winter Games
  • 1985-1987 Assisted Stephenville and Port aux Basques in getting juvenile broomball started
  • 1985-1987 Instrumental in getting some schools in Western NL to teach broomball as a physical education course
  • 1986-1987 President of Broomball NL
  • 1986-1993 Assisted and promoted many provincial and Atlantic tournaments which were hosted in the Western Area of NL
  • 1988-1992 Founding Chairman of Broomball NL Hall of Fame Committee
  • 1988-1993 Public Relations Chairman of Broomball NL
  • 1998-1993 Founding Chairman of Broomball NL Hall of Fame Committee
  • 1988 Instrumental in getting 1st Atlantic Juvenile tournament in Port aux Basques
  • 1990 Finalist “Corner Brook Sports Executive of the Year”
  • 1998 Inducted into the Broomball NL Hall of Fame
