Brian started as a coach with Lethbridge Broomball Association. Starting in 1979 he held executive positions as President, Vice President and Referee in Chief with the Lethbridge Broomall Association as well as Vice President of Alberta Broomball Association beginning in 1981. Brian also held the position of Vice President of Canadian Broomball Federation, he has attended many Provincials, Westerns and Canadians over his coaching career. Lethbridge Panthers have won 4 Provincials, “B” Gold at the 1994 Nationals, “A” Gold at the 2000 Nationals, 3rd at the1996 Worlds (in Victoria), 2nd place at the1998 Worlds (in Italy). Participation in World Broomball Championships include: 1996 - Victoria, 1998 - Italy, and 2000 - Victoria.

Host Committee Member:

The Lethbridge Broomball Association has hosted a number of Alberta Provincials as well as the 1994 Canadian Broomball Federation National Championships. Brian has worked over the years for other Alberta sites that are hosting Provincials, Westerns and Nationals.

  • 1981 -Val Dor, QC- Attended 1st Nationals for Alberta and has been to every Nationals as Alberta VP or Coach

Coach of the Year:

Brian was named “Coach of theYear” in 1989 for his dedication to coaching in Broomball and Softball in Alberta.
